Lummi Island Wild is a sustainable fishery operating out of Lummi Island in Northwest Washington. They came to Intuito Websites looking for a plan to upgrade their existing site, which was actually two sites. They specialize in a fascinating fishing technique called reefneting. There was a public facing website on one server and an older payment processor on a different server, so that customers had to choose which one to use, depending on various factors. The payment processor was holding them back because it lacked the flexibility they needed to move forward with new marketing initiatives.
After discussing the options, we decided to go with a custom WordPress template, and a custom WP plugin for managing all their customers in conjunction with WooCommerce, the popular WordPress shopping cart.
Brandon Allen did a great job re-branding the site as well.
